For Client Care Manager Marie Browne, she has always loved animals as far back as she can remember and it was never even a question that she would have a different career. Her path was mapped out!
Marie stepped into emergency medicine after looking for a bigger challenge, and when the opportunity to work at Perth Vet Emergency came up she jumped at the chance and hasn’t looked back since. Every day in the hospital is different with many challenging cases and she loves to save lives in that setting.
The most memorable cases Marie sees in the hospital is when it has anything to do with Australian wildlife. “I still find these patients fascinating, even after emigrating from Ireland 13 years ago”, she explains.
Marie says she loves working at Perth Vet Emergency for the team. She is constantly in awe of the vets and nurses passion for emergency cases and their high standards of care.
Outside of work you can find Marie Browne at her local dog beach. She even chose her house specifically as it was beside the dog beach! You can also find her out cycling with her kids, kayaking, hiking, chasing sunshine, and new water holes.
