Dr Jill Griffiths graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology in 1995. She then completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 1997, going on to complete a Masters in Veterinary Studies in 2003. Jill started her career working in mixed practice that had a substantial emergency work component.
Her passion for the emergency field drew her to commence exclusively working within the emergency and critical care field in 2003.
She has worked across Perth, the Wheatbelt and in the far north of WA; enjoying the challenge of treating whatever comes through the door!
Jill is particularly drawn to diagnosing and stabilizing critically ill patients as well as performing surgery.
She has a special interest in pain management, particularly in the acute abdomen.
Throughout her career, Jill has been an advocate for developing the skills and knowledge in those around her and is passionate about supporting her team as the Veterinary Manager within Perth Vet Emergency.
