Dr Heminee Davè

BSc, BVMS, MANZCVS (Emergency & Critical Care)

Dr. Heminee Dave graduated from Murdoch University in 2014. After graduating, she travelled to New Zealand to work rurally as a mixed and dairy veterinarian. During this time, she developed a keen interest in emergency medicine, serving as one of the few veterinarians available in an isolated area. She treated a wide range of species in the clinic and in the field, regardless of the weather—rain, hail, snow, or sunshine.
Since returning to Perth, she has worked in general practice before joining the PVE team in 2021. In 2023, she achieved her ANZCVS memberships in Emergency and Critical Care.

Dr. Heminee has a strong interest in medical cases, particularly in critical care. She finds it the most rewarding when a sick pet finally feels well enough to eat some food and wag their tail, and is continually awed by the resilience pets show despite serious illness. She loves working with the collaborative PVE team, who continually strive to provide excellent care to the pets of Perth,
At home, she is a devoted fur mum to two standard poodles, Padfoot and George; two cats, Marble and Kiwi; and a galah named Pigwidgeon. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and going to the gym.
