Cara’s Incredible Recovery After a Traumatic Beach Incident – Thanks to Our Blood Donor Program

Cara was brought to our Yokine hospital after suffering serious dog bite injuries during a beach incident. She had sustained severe trauma to her neck and required immediate surgery from our dedicated team to stabilise her condition. Following her procedure, Cara was transferred to our Cannington hospital for ongoing care and hospitalisation. Due to the extent of her injuries, she also needed a blood transfusion—something we were able to provide thanks to our incredible Blood Donor Program.
